So, what’s this blog all about? Simple. This November I’m attempting NaNoWriMo – writing a 50,000 word novel in one month. I’m partially doing this for my own pleasure.

I’m also doing this to try to raise awareness and get a little bit of money for charity. The specific charity is the Everyman Campaign, raising awareness of male cancers. Having had Testicular cancer a few years back, this charity holds a special place for me (plus they got Rachel Stevens to do a video for them in 2005 – lurvely).

So, go to http://www.justgiving.com/pulsenovel and donate some money, or just promise to if I finish the novel. And then check this blog periodically as I’ll upload what I’ve written daily.

Update: I managed to complete NaNo on time, just. Many thanks to everyone who sponsored or donated money – we raised £490 all told! Whilst NaNo was ‘won’, the story hasn’t yet been finished, so I shall be continuing to write and post until it’s done.
